How many thermostats?
Herschel controls allow you to get away from the old concept of having a single thermostat controlling the whole of your house (madness when you think about it, really).
Ideally you would have one thermostat per room (in very large rooms, perhaps two) and pair the heaters in each room to their particular thermostats.
You can then program the thermostats according to the usage of each room: e.g. daytime areas may need to be kept warmer than bedrooms or bathrooms.

Hi,
We usually advise no more than 10 panels paired per thermostat, but realistically these are thermostats for individual rooms, not one thermostat for a whole house, so you'd only maybe pair a maximum of three or four per thermostat. Hope that helps.

Does the XLS unit have an inbuilt thermostat? for instances where it is a standalone item?
